How to prepare for your viewing experience

Updated: Jan 22, 2020

You have enjoyed your photographic session with one of our fantastic photographers. Together, we have created some beautiful portraits of you and your tribe of mischief-makers doing what they do best! Now it's time to head home while your photographer starts work on your images. Your portraits will be ready to view from 3 working days after your shoot. In the meantime, you have a bit of homework to do!

It's time to get thinking...

Take your time to start planning how you want your family portraits to be presented. Your photographs are going to be on display for years to come so our quality products ensure that your family portraits can be enjoyed by future generations.

Consider your taste, space and budget...

What scale do you want to display your images at?

How much room do you have?

Do you want stand-alone pieces or a large collection?

Do you want to opt for one of our modern Photo Books for a gorgeous coffee table display?

Where will you hang your portraits?

It's time to get designing. Have a think about where you want to display your images. The lounge, hallway, kitchen and bedroom are the most popular place to hang portraits. Or all of the above!

Be sure to measure your space as sizes and products are chosen on the day. We also advise you to take pictures of your space on your phone to show your image consultant. This makes it easier for them to advise you on products to suit your home.

We stock a range of framed and frameless pieces. What products would suit your home? Is your decor quite rustic? The Symphony frames are perfect for you! If your home is more contemporary, our Alumini artwork is very chic. If you're limited for space our stunning Photo Books work well as a lovely coffee table display.

Please make sure you take some time to read through the product guide given to you at your photographic session. It lists a wide range of our product sizes and prices and is full of tips on planning product selection. You can also learn more about our product range here or check out our dedicated Instagram Highlight

Be sure you have everything you need on the day

It's important that you're fully prepared for your viewing session as all decisions are made on the day, please ensure you have the following:

  • Measurements and photos of your space

  • Proof of ID and address for finance options

  • Your product guide with all your notes

Kleenex at the ready, be prepared to be blown away. Leave yourself at least an hour and a half to ensure that the viewing is relaxed and enjoyable. Don’t try and rush it, the images will be amazing and you will need time to make your decisions.

We would suggest that you do not bring small children to the viewing, as they will get bored easily. However, we have plenty of toys to keep them occupied if the whole family does want to attend!
