Makeover FAQ
What should I wear to my shoot?
You can have up to 3-5 outfit changes during your session. We recommend making the most of your wardrobe changes to bring a nice variety to your image collection. Think formal, casual, cosplay, stylish, sexy, fun or something completely different!
What do I need to do to prepare for my session?
-
Make sure your nails are filed and polished or manicured to your liking
-
Your skin is moisturised
-
Your legs, under-arms and any other areas are as you would like them
-
If desired, ensure you apply fake tan a day or two before your session but please note that tan lines will show in your photos so we advise against tanning. Embrace your beautiful, natural skin!
-
We recommend visiting your hairdresser for a trim as we style hair but don't cut it.
What should I bring to my session?
As well as outfits and accessories, we encourage everyone to bring in their own selection of props.

When do I get to see my photos?
Unlike a lot of studios, we won't keep you waiting in anticipation to see your images. You get to view them on the same day as your shoot! Once you are finished in the studio you can have a rest in the reception area. Relax, have a drink and we'll work our magic on your images so they're ready to view within half an hour!
How do you retouch my images?
We ensure our editing process is in line with the customer's taste. In your viewing, we show you your images with a selection of filters and editing processes applied. We can soften your skin to minimise wrinkles and blemishes, remove unwanted marks or tatoos. You can work with your image consultant to create a collection you're proud of.
Can I bring a friend?
You're more then welcome to bring a friend along for moral support - we know that, for some people, having a familiar face close by can help calm those nerves !
Can I bring my family?
As a policy, we do not allow young children in the Makeover studios. This is due to the fact that there are many hazards such as heated tongs in the beauty station and exposed wires in the studio. Our Makeover experiences are designed to be enjoyed in a relaxed environment and the structure of the day means that it could result in children being left unsupervised while Mum & Dad are being pampered!
Do you photograph men?
Absolutely! We welcome lots of men to the studio for a Makeover experience.
Who will be taking my photograph?
Our Makeover team is made up of talented portrait photographers who have a wealth of experience to their names. These hand-picked professionals are successful photographers in their own right and have worked on a huge range of projects including shoots high end fashion magazines. Clifton Photographic ensure our customers enjoy a professional photo shoot and we're sure to only select the best talent to become part of our team. We have both male and female photographers so if you have a preference, let us know when you're booking your session.
