Firstly, may we thank you for taking the time to consider Clifton Photographic Company to photograph your wedding. There are a hundred and one wedding photographers in our surrounding area and each one is more than capable of attending and photographing your wedding. Choosing someone to love and love you back is probably the biggest commitment you will ever make in your life, now add everyone and anyone that means anything to you and that’s your wedding day! Over the years of enthralling our customers with beautiful wedding photography we have concluded that there can be no production lines or systems. Each wedding is unique and completely unlike the last, that is why; there are no substitutes for professionalism, planning, experience thoughtfully blended with artistic merit and desire to constantly improve and not rest on our laurels. . our commitment is our reputation and we do not take that lightly.

A look, a touch, a reassuring smile or nod, perhaps even a tear, these emotions that last but a fleeting moment can never be repeated nor undone. Each year we aim to photograph no more than 25 weddings, so be assured our wedding photography is always approached with maximum attention to detail, zest and enthusiasm.

Once a wedding date is booked we extend an informal invitation to you both to join us at the studio and discover for yourselves what we can really do by means of a fun relaxed portrait session at our Clifton studio. The session doesn’t last too long but offers us a fantastic opportunity to get to know each other better. Please accept an offer of a complimentary 16 by 12 mounted portrait from this session. This image or any from the wedding can be placed on CD to use for invites or thank you cards or perhaps gifts to family or friends.

About two weeks before the wedding we hope to see you at the studio for final planning, by now everything should be falling into place. A well-planned wedding ensures things like proposed timings are realistic. All aspects are discussed, including group photography; wet weather contingency plans, concluding with a final tweaking of how the photography is to be incorporated into the proceedings.

Our intention is always to photograph the day as naturally and with as little disruption to the flow of the day as possible, however at certain points throughout the day we thoroughly recommend stopping to create something special. We are very sensitive and keen to keep everything as low key wherever possible. We’ve all been to weddings where the photographer thinks it’s his wedding day and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Fortunately that’s not us. Most couples choose to have some form of group shots taken throughout the day. These can be key indicators as to how a photographer operates, he or she must be able to entertain, keep control yet remain positively polite and of course produce fine photography. We trust you will find our service eloquent, polite, low key, creative, fun and relaxed. Usually we expect to begin in the morning with the bride and finish after the speeches have long finished with the first dance or fireworks. This length of coverage allows a full storybook coverage and means we never need to rush. It is advisable if considering other photographers to ask whether they have this form of relaxed extended coverage.

During your honeymoon, relax with the knowledge that we are creating something special. We use and develop cutting edge editing techniques to enhance and develop your wedding images. On returning from honeymoon we’ll look to invite you back to our studio for an enthralling and emotional viewing of your images; open a bottle of wine, sit back and re-live your wedding. A comfortable viewing room is provided with easy chairs and air conditioning. It is not unusual for us to show you over 300 images but don’t worry about being rushed, album images can be selected now or from a proof book in the comfort of your own home. Images are normally uploaded within two to three weeks or should you wish, whilst still on Honeymoon. Family and friends are also able to view online and can purchase photographs for £15 per image. Into the future by now, we will know each other quite well and will often have formed friendship. Many of our wedding couples return to us in the future with young families and continue to use Clifton Photographic Company as their family photographers. We consider this to be a very special relationship and feel privileged and proud to see youngsters growing and returning over the years, we do of course extend preferential rates to all our returning wedding clients.
